Character Notes

As promised, here are some thoughts about each of the characters. Remember that one of your jobs as a costume designer is to communicate something of the character's personality through your designs.

I hope these notes will help as you build on the fantastic work already posted on this blog.

I'll post the notes in a separate posting for each character in the hope that it will be easier to comment on my thoughts. Do, please, post comments, especially if you disagree with my reading of the characters - the debate is vital at this stage.

I'll also post some notes about the play as a whole - I hope these will be particularly useful to those of you working on the set
