I think this sort of idea is great, because it incorporates many different factors of the play. For example, the orange/fruity theme *connotes* (good word Mr F) food, which as we have said, is a central theme of the play. Also, it puts a fresh, sexier spin on the old style costumes of this period, which i think is what all the costumes need. This is a fun, ridiculous, jazzy play, and i think the costumes should reflect that.
